Hey, you.

 

 I am studying elementary education at the University of Michigan. I tried to minor in Creative Writing, but the school wouldn't let me double-count my credits toward my major and my minor, so now I am minor-less. But I'm twenty, so I am no longer a minor.

I am currently taking an extended hiatus on Wattpad. I began reading in April 2012, after searching for a free online copy of The Amanda Project, a book I had read almost a year before. That summer, I went to Vietnam, and instead of exploring the country and my mother's hometown like I should have been, I stayed glued to a cushioned chair--from night until day--writing my first book, Set Me Free, currently known as Jangles. In August 2012, I started writing The Last Virgin Standing.

Back then, I never knew that The Last Virgin Standing would become what it is today. Wattpad has provided me with a community of readers and writers, some of whom have become my good friends. I have had the opportunity to meet and befriend Wattpad staff, including the adorable Jeanne Lam and Alan Lau (who has my photo on his desk) as well as become one of the first recipients of the Wattpad Scholarship.
